What is a Grief Walk?

Grief Walk

.

Grief hurts in a deeply particular way, and isolation makes it worse. - Ashley Judd

We will walk in beautiful places around Portland, with our grief and each other, on the first Monday evening of every month, rain or shine.

During Grief Walks, we'll not only experience the tranquil surroundings but also engage in practices to restore balance to our nervous systems.

Step by step, being present in the moment, connecting with others, and honoring those who have touched our lives, finding comfort and connection amidst the gentle rhythm of our walks.

Through brief breathing exercises, simple stretches, and a nurturing sharing circle, we create a supportive space where healing can unfold.

People in grief need someone to walk with them without judging them.
— Gail Sheehy
